At times in our lives, we might find ourselves feeling stuck or stagnant. Self-limiting thoughts and beliefs or fears about the future can often create a struggle within our minds.
Our mind is a powerful tool that can sometimes trick us into thinking we can only go so far or do so much.
But here’s a little secret, we are actually more in control than we think.
My approach to therapy is to meet you where you are and empower you to step into your life.
Through goal setting and skill building, I want to help you move through fears and learn effective ways of coping.
You already have everything within you to live the life you envision.
By creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment, I can help you identify your values and support you with your healing journey.
My interest in a holistic approach to wellness led me to specialize in working with individuals who struggle with eating disorders in an inpatient and residential setting.

Jessica is licensed in both Colorado and California and provides online therapy for adults in both states through Denver Metro Counseling.
I have always been drawn to fields of study and work that focus on building and maintaining connection with others.
My career began in the world of advertising, where my skills of building relationships were practiced; however, I quickly discovered that this wasn’t fully fulfilling my desire to help others.
From there, I transitioned into the world of mental health and completed my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2013 and am trained in EMDR therapy.
My work was initially focused in the community mental health setting, as both Case Manager and Therapist, where I enhanced my knowledge of the amazing resources there are in our communities.
It was here that I had the opportunity to strengthen my skill set in diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychiatric presentations.
I have experience working at all levels of care including: inpatient and residential hospitalization, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, and private practice outpatient settings.
I specialize in providing therapy for anxiety, depression, eating disorders, suicide risk, body image issues, life transitions, trauma therapy and ADHD. I am also trained in EMDR therapy.
Jessica was interviewed by Authority Magazine writer to speak to one of her passions: the benefits of gratitude on mental health.
